Happy Birthday

George, you are born!! 4.30am, June 14 2006. You are the most handsome little boy I ever laid eyes on. I am so happy to finally have you in my arms. I love you... now lets bond and SLEEP baby SLEEP!! zzzzzzzzzzz

Cramping Has Increased

I started cramping, a bit stronger than the mild cramps I had been feeling, but today I saw a glob of the mucus plug. It was clear but a nice sized glob (about my pinky nail plus some). Nana and grandad arrive tonight so hang in there, plus I don't want you born on this day 06/06/06 - 666. I heard on the radio so many mothers were scheduling this day for c-sections and asking to be induced. You are free to come anyday after midnight tonight :)

40 Week Appt

Well, here I am still waiting for your arrival. I saw a midwife and she asked how I was feeling. I was feeling a little bit confused, afterall, I was told to expect you two weeks ago :) I do understand how all that works. But I feel so great pregnant with you, in my mind I can not imagine I will be birthing you soon. I feel more like 7 months pregnant than 9!! So the dr. asked if I would like to be checked, i said sure for peace of mind, I would love to know if anything is changing, although I can't feel it. To my surprise, she announced I am 2cm dialated and 50% effaced. That was great news for me, their has been progress. I am so excited to believe you will be here sometime within the next two weeks, after all, we have yet to meet that mother that has been pregnant for 10 years!!!

Pedicure

I went to Cocoks and got a pedicure with the gift certificate Kelly brown gave me. It was wonderful!! Two hours of massage and foot attention!! I love it. I was experiencing contractions, 15mins apart for 30 secs, however these were so weak that I knew not to get excited. It was great to feel them though, it was probably from all the stimulation and relaxation!! I had a great time and my toes look superb!! :)

Cramping Mildly Still...

Still cramping but not enough to be worried, this is still the only sign I have - except I did get the tingles in my thighs this morning for awhile but after i took a nap that didn't come back.
The cramps are not getting stronger, just hanging around. I am trying to get as much sleep as possible, you will be here soon enough - you just have to be - I can't stay this way forever!

Mild Cramping

10.00am I noticed very mild cramping, not enough to be concerned. We went and bought groceries so I was up and walking about. Nothing changed. Still mild cramping...
